{.word} format and are woven naturally into sentences. When you submit, our AI system reviews your adventure against these guidelines. Most adventures are approved within minutes. If there's an issue, you'll be told what to fix.
Common reasons for revision
Some actions hold a deposit — gems you get back when your adventure passes review. Others are a fee, spent when the action happens. The rule of thumb: anything that goes to review is a deposit; anything instant is a fee.
| Action | Gems | What happens to them |
|---|---|---|
| Submit a new adventure | 400 | Deposit — held during review and across rejections, returned in full when your adventure is approved. |
| Resubmit after a rejection | 100 | Fee — spent on each retry. Your original 400 deposit stays held and still comes back when approved. |
| Update a published adventure | 100 | Fee — spent. |
| Publish a private adventure | 100 | Fee — spent. Passes an instant automated check instead of full review. |
| Edit a private adventure | Free | Private adventures are yours — edits are direct and never charged. |
| Make a private adventure public | 400 | Deposit — same as a submission: returned when approved, and retries after a rejection cost 100. |
Example: an adventure rejected once and approved on the second try costs 100 gems total — you paid 400 + 100 and got the 400 deposit back.
